The Somfy Movelite 35 RTS represents accessible French engineering, custom-manufactured to your exact architectural specifications by Curtain Hardware & Blinds Co. Designed to effortlessly carry drapery up to 35kg, your custom Somfy rail is dispatched as a fully assembled, continuous single-span profile. We do not supply cheap, multi-piece telescoping kits.

Factory Sizing & 0.5m Pricing Architecture

Our production floor calculates pricing using strict 0.5-meter billing increments. You provide your precise millimeter measurements for a perfect fit, and the system automatically rounds up to the nearest 0.5m bracket.

Custom Measurement Calculation Formulas

To guarantee a flawless installation of your Somfy system, apply our strict structural sizing math before checkout:

• Reveal Fix (Inside Window Recess/Bulkhead): Measure the exact wall-to-wall recess width. Deduct exactly 10mm to 15mm from your total length. This deduction ensures the Somfy motor housing and factory end-gears have adequate physical clearance to slide into place without binding against the walls.

• Face Fix (Wall Mounted Beyond Recess): Measure the outer width of your window frame. Add a minimum of 25cm to 40cm onto both the left and right sides (total extension of 50cm to 80cm). This allows your heavy drapery to stack back entirely off the glass, maximizing natural light.

System Inclusions, Capabilities & Exclusions

• Technical Limits: Whisper-quiet Somfy RTS motor with a 35kg maximum fabric weight capacity. Features built-in 'Touch Motion' (gently pull the fabric to activate the motor automatically).

• Included Hardware (Factory Pre-Assembled): Custom extruded track profile, Somfy Movelite 35 RTS motor, internal drive belt, master carriers, 2 wheel runners, and heavy-duty ceiling or wall brackets.

• Excluded Hardware: Somfy Remote Controls are sold separately. Wall anchors and mounting screws are not provided (must be locally sourced to suit your specific wall substrate).

• Smart Home Compatibility: RTS motors are controlled via radio frequency. To control this track via smartphone app, Alexa, or Google Home, you must pair it with a Somfy TaHoma Gateway hub (sold separately).

• Factory Lead Time: 5 to 7 business days for precision cutting, belt tensioning, motor calibration, and bench testing.

• Delivery Tiering: Tracks up to 3.0 meters ship via standard regional couriers. Lengths from 3.1 meters up to 5.5 meters require dedicated over-length freight handling to protect the continuous aluminum profile during transit.
